Help with Housing

The Center has seven service-enriched housing units, and can provide help with housing application and search. We can also help with overdue rent to prevent eviction and homelessness.

Housing Search

Our Community Health team can help members complete applications and secure housing. Make an appointment by calling 789-1559.

Service-enriched Housing

Applicants should be interested in working on goals to improve their family’s quality of life, such as better employment, health care, and educational opportunities. Tenants are required to meet with a community health worker twice a month who can assist with nutrition, health and well-being, children’s education and enrichment, and more.

Requirements

  • Be an active Jonnycake member and meet income requirements
  • Children currently or recently enrolled in local school system
  • Willingness to meet with staff a minimum of two times per month.
